About The Role
As the Field Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for building relationships and executing the activities of the service team to deliver quality diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs for the success of our extensive customer group.
This role is based in our Smeaton Grange office.
We are ideally looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and a natural communicator who brings innovative ideas to the team.
Duties
- Providing excellence in customer service including building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers
- Primary focus of the role will be to schedule and coordinate service jobs, allocate routine maintenance and urgent service jobs to the field and workshop technicians
- Maintaining safety records such as SWMS (Safety Work Method Statements) for sites & Service staff
- Maintain and update accounting & induction software, i.e. Ariba, SASSI, GreenCap
- Efficiently and accurately conduct a variety of administration duties including managing the CRM data base and proactively follow up with customers as required
- Professionally receive and action all incoming client requests via phone, email, etc.
- Assist in the co-ordination & purchase of spare parts
- Preparing invoices for processing
- Providing front-line communication & support to external customers
- Handling a high volume of customer requests
- Prioritise service calls according to urgency and importance
- Entering service data into our system, maintain logs, records of calls, activities, and other information
- Ensuring the day-to-day service department operations runs smoothly and efficiently
Experience and Skills requirements
- Previous experience working in a service coordinator role in the Industrial/ generator sector
- Highly developed prioritisation and time management skills
- Experience in a service department where you solve complex issues
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously
- Good phone manner and exceptional customer service skills
You will need to be an energetic, self-motivated person with good planning, organisational skills, and self-discipline.
