Our generators are of the highest quality, but it doesn’t matter if you buy the most expensive or cheapest generator on the market, you still have to maintain it.
If generators aren’t properly maintained they’ll lose their longevity and reliability.
So you may ask, how do I keep my generator in good working condition? The answer is simple really.
Keep up with ongoing engine and alternator maintenance as well as maintaining your generators canopy or even installing a weatherproof canopy if your generator is an open style.
A properly maintained weatherproof canopy will protect your generator from all the elements. It will also prevent water from infiltrating the bunded area causing corrosion.
You wouldn’t leave all your expensive equipment out in the rain, would you? So why should your generator be any different?
Here at PowerGen Australia, our expert team is prepared to take care of your generator from engine maintenance to waterproofing. If you are looking to purchase a new generator all PowerGen Australia’s generator canopies are either pre-treated galvanised or Primed with zinc primer (type epoxy/zinc phosphate for instance) at least 40μ thick for extended life.
If you don’t have a waterproof canopy for your generator be sure to call our expert team today!
